Our physical bodies get sick because of a “poverty of our entire being” – poverty in our body, our soul, and our spirit. Sickness happens when there’s too little love, or too little joy, or too little nourishment, or too little live enzymes.

Now with modern medicine, sickness is treated using an all-out-war strategy – a massive dose of antibiotics, a surgery, or radiation treatments. On the other hand, ancient medicine’s approach is different and gentler – not fighting just the sickness but aiming to feed the body physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It’s the permanent solution to sickness.
